Mikel Garrido jest młodym wenezuelskim reżyserem i operatorem filmowym, urodzonym 8 lipca 1997 r., stypendystą Escuela Superior de Cine y Medios Audiovisuales de Cataluña (ESCAC) w Hiszpanii. Pracował w zespole operatorów filmowych projektów docenionych na 76. Festiwalu Filmowym w Cannes, 55. Festiwalu Filmowym w Sitges oraz 26. Festiwalu Filmowym w Maladze. „We have Homeland” to jego krótkometrażowy film dyplomowy, a obecnie rozwija „Turpial”, projekt filmu fabularnego.

Mikel Garrido is a young Venezuelan director and cinematographer, born July 8, 1997, a scholarship student at the Escuela Superior de Cine y Medios Audiovisuales de Cataluña (ESCAC) in Spain. He has worked in the cinematography team of projects selected for the 76th Cannes Film Festival, 55th Sitges Film Festival or the 26th Malaga Film Festival. “We have Homeland” is his graduation shortfilm and right now he is developing “Turpial” a fiction feature film project.
