Alina Grigore jest doktorantką i adiunktką na wydziale aktorskim Narodowego Uniwersytetu Teatru i Filmu w Bukareszcie, bada techniki aktorskie w podejściu interdyscyplinarnym. Jako aktorka debiutowała w filmie Happy End (2006) w reżyserii Radu Potcoavy. Wśród rumuńskich reżyserów, z którymi pracowała, są Cristi Puiu i Adrian Sitaru. Podczas studiów i pracy zawodowej w USA Alina zafascynowała się mechanizmami myślowymi związanymi z procesem aktorskim i reżyserskim.  Po powrocie do Rumunii założyła Inlight Center – prywatną szkołę teatralno-filmową oraz dom produkcyjny.  InLight to przestrzeń, w której ona i jej uczniowie ćwiczą różnorodne metody analizy procesu opowiadania historii.  Zaczęła wdrażać się w scenopisarstwo oraz reżyserię z pomocą Adriana Sitaru, z którym współtworzyła scenariusz do filmu Illegitimate (2016), nagrodzonego CICAE Award na Festiwalu Filmowym w Berlinie w sekcji Forum.  Zagrała także główną rolę w tym filmie. Film otrzymał nagrodę za najlepszy scenariusz na Festiwalu Filmowym w Namur i przyniósł Alinie specjalne wyróżnienie za aktorstwo w L’Europe oraz nagrodę Angela za scenariusz i grę aktorską na Subtitle Film Festival w Irlandii.  Alina jest absolwentką Berlinale Talents 2018, LIM 2018, PLOT 2018. Jako reżyserka i scenarzystka Alina została w 2021 roku pierwszą rumuńską twórczynią filmową, która zdobyła Złotą Muszlę na Festiwalu Filmowym w San Sebastián za swój debiut reżyserski, Blue Moon (2021). Film zdobył kilka nagród na festiwalach oraz przyniósł Alinie nagrodę dla najlepszej reżyserki na Międzynarodowym Festiwalu Filmowym w Bergamo.

Alina Grigore is a PhD student and assistant professor at the acting department at the National University of Theatre and Film in Bucharest, researching acting techniques through interdisciplinary approach. Her acting debut was in Happy End (2006), directed by Radu Potcoava. Among the Romanian film directors she has worked with are Cristi Puiu and Adrian Sitaru. During her studies and professional work in the USA, Alina became passionate about the thinking mechanisms involved in the acting and directing process. Returned to Romania, she founded Inlight Center – a theater and film private school and a production house. InLight is the space where she and her students practice several methods of analyzing the storytelling process. She started researching screenwriting and directing with the help of director Adrian Sitaru, with whom she co-wrote Illegitimate (2016) the CICAE Award winner at the Berlin Film Festival in the Forum section. She also played the lead role in this film. The film was awarded Best Screenplay at the Namur Film Festival, and brought Alina special mention for acting in L’Europe around Europe and Angela Award for screenwriting and acting at the Subtitle Film Festival in Ireland. Alina is an alumna of Berlinale Talents 2018, LIM 2018, PLOT 2018. As a director and screenwriter, Alina became in 2021, the first Romanian filmmaker to win the Golden Shell at the San Sebastian Film Festival with her debut in directing, Blue Moon (2021). The film had an intensive festival track record and won several awards and brought Alina the Best Director Award at the Bergamo International Film Festival.

Anna Bielak – Od końca 2020 roku Szefowa Developmentu w Aurum Film. Pracuje koncepcyjnie nad projektami fabularnymi i serialowymi rozwijanymi w firmie. Współpracowała przy scenariuszach kostiumowego serialu premium “Król” (2020) Jana P. Matuszyńskiego oraz była story edytorką czarnej komedii “Minuty ciszy” (2022) w reżyserii Jacka Lusińskiego (dla Canal+). Konsultowała scenariuszowo m.in. dramat “Żeby nie było śladów” (2021) Jana P. Matuszyńskiego oraz “Kosa” Pawła Maślony (premiera 2023). Współpisała scenariusz komedii “Na twoim miejscu” (2022) Antoniego Galdameza (TVN, Warner Bros.) oraz animowany heist-short “Crush” Michała i Jakuba Sochy (premiera w 2023). Jest współzałożycielką warsztatów Atelier Scenariuszowe. Czyta, opiniuje i konsultuje scenariusze od 2013 roku.

Since the end of 2020 she has been the head of development at Aurum Film. She works conceptually on feature and series projects developed in the company. She wrote associate screenplay for the premium costume series “The King of Warsaw” (2020) by Jan P. Matuszyński and was the story editor of the dark comedy “A minute of Silence” (2022) directed by Jacek Lusiński (for Canal+). She consulted on the screenplay, among others, the drama “Leave no Traces” (2021) directed by Jan P. Matuszyński and “Kosa” by Paweł Maślona (premiere in 2023). She co-wrote the screenplay for Antonio Galdamez’s comedy “If I were you” (2022) (TVN, Warner Bros.) and the animated heist-short “Crush” by Michał and Jakub Socha (premiere in 2023). She is a co-founder of the Workshops ”Screenwriting Atelier”. She has been reading, reviewing and consulting screenplays since 2013.

Marcin Pieńkowski jest dyrektorem Międzynarodowego Festiwalu Filmowego Nowe Horyzonty. W latach 2016-2021 pełnił funkcję dyrektora artystycznego festiwalu. Członek zarządu i szef dystrybucji Stowarzyszenia Nowe Horyzonty, współzałożyciel platformy Nowe Horyzonty VOD. Filmoznawca, historyk kina, redaktor i współautor książek o kinie, wykładowca, ekspert międzynarodowych programów edukacyjnych. Członek Europejskiej Akademii Filmowej.

Marcin Pieńkowski is director of the New Horizons International Film Festival.  In the years 2016-2021 he was the artistic director of the festival.  Member of the board and head of distribution of the New Horizons Association, co-founder of the New Horizons VOD platform.  Film expert, cinema historian, editor and co-author of books on cinema, lecturer, expert in international educational programs.  Member of the European Film Academy.
